Here's the buzz...
I always thought I was attractive to mosquitoes because I'm a sweet person (well, somebody's gotta say it!)... but it turns out that it's not so much sweet as sweat that draws them. Nasty little fetishists!
PS. If mosquitoes make a beeline, do bees make a mosquitoline? What sort of a line would wasps make?
There's just no end to my scientific curiosity...

It would seem you were having a good albeit quiet week. Loads of time to think about scientific stuff. Like the thought of mosquitos in a beeline. In my imagination there is a row of them, sitting on little deckchairs outside a bee hive to get some honey - a beeline indeed!

I dislike mosquis. They seem to be attracted to my head.. and I think it's because of my yummy smelling shampoo. I've never had a problem when i got bitten by mosquis back home.. but last month when I went to the lake with my friend.. I had 3 big lump on my forhead from the bite... one of it was so big that my friend said that was my 3rd breast. Ah!

Indeed! I use the aussie shampoo stuff... comes in purple bottle, great smelling stuff, too bad for my poor head.
